What plot twist surprised you the most?
When we found out she killed the little boy
I have to admit I was surprised that Jake turned out as he did. I figured there was something off with him, but….and Reanne? That was a surprise
Agree with this. I suspected Gwen probably did kill someone based on the title of the book but didn’t expect it to be him or that he was actually still alive.
I do not want to give anything away to those who have not read the book but I was surprised by finding out about the relationship of two of the characters. And discovering who wanted to kill her and why.
I agree George, I simply didn’t see that twist coming.
The most surprising part was Natalie stalking her. I was surprised to read about their relationship and how it fizzled without a proper resolution.
When the entire truth about that night finally comes out. I had suspicions, but the way it slowly unfolded and what it meant for each character surprised me, and had me reevaluating everything I thought I knew about them.
The reader doesn’t get the complete truth until close to the end, when everything finally comes together and the characters are forced to face what really happened. It completely reframes the guilt, blame, and grief each character has been carrying.
When Gwen is confronted by Jake. Suddenly everything unravels and we see how powerful Gwen is.
I was most surprised to learn that Cody had not died.
When we found out Gwen killed Cody was the most surprising plot to me. It was also surprising when we found out Cody was still alive.
I was also shocked that Jake was Cody and that he had not died. Brilliant plot twist(s)!
There were a couple twists that surprised me that Gwen was the one that killed Cody and that Cody turned out to be alive. The other twists and turns kept me reading!
The ending when we find out that Jake is really Cody and she didn’t really kill him after all.
That the boy was still alive. I also did not care for how this was done. I like twists, so long as they seem believable in the logic of the story, but this did not to me.
