I am a case manager for persons with disabilities by day and a writer as a side gig. I primarily write creative nonfiction and personal essays about mental health, caregiving, and grief. I have been published in both print and online publications. But have also published a short story and am in the process of publishing a second. I also publish on Medium, Substack, and my blog. I do not write as prolifically as I would like, as I spend most of my free time reading. I live with my husband, two dogs, and a cat in Louisville, KY. We are newly empty-nesters as our 22-year-old son recently moved to Illinois with his boyfriend. My husband and I are avid board gamers, having accumulated quite a collection, and we enjoy attending board game conventions.
