I adored this book! I love quirky characters in weird predicaments that make me laugh and cry. There was humor, sweetness, a bit absurdity a times, but lovable and fallible humans!

I also adored this book! It was one of the most entertaining books I’ve read in a long time. I felt a range of emotions throughout the book. It was never dull or slow and incredibly engaging and fast paced.

What a page turner! Not only was this book intriguing, but extremely well written. Normally, any book dealing with “marriage relationships isn’t my “cup of tea”, but so much more was presented by the author.

I was so surprised and delighted with this funny and engaging book! I put her previous (The Mostly True Story of Tanner and Louise) on reserve. It was just the right blend of silly and serious for light reading.

I enjoyed it, once I decided to dispel reality. I had read the author’s previous book, so I was ready for the author’s style of unusual twists and turns along with quirky characters.

I thought it was very clever and I really enjoyed it. The interaction and dialogue between Jane and Dan was great fun. There were a few twists that kept me curious as to how it was going to end.

I felt the book started slow. I did wind up enjoying it. I think I would rather have a book with terrorist be harder. I think I prefer my relationship books without crime. I also prefer my crime books more hard boiled

I enjoyed this book! It was fun to read and great for a break from some of the more serious historical fiction I have been reading recently.

I loved it. It was a bit over the top in parts but both Jane and Dan reminded me of people that I know. They were both very quirky in their own way and also very funny at times. This book was a fun read and also a real page turner.

I am looking forward to it!

I highly recommend this book. Its plot is similar to. Bel Canto in many ways. But it is much lighter.i laughed out loud at many of the situations and characters. But it was also serious in isituations The author created a realistic but totally manipulated situation and used believable human reactions to events in the restaurant. As one who is highly particular, i really liked this book

It was an easy, enjoyable read. The characters were interesting, the plot was twisty and the injection of humor was welcome.

Quite often I have difficulty getting into a book. There’s usually some bit of dialogue, or something implausible about the situation, that sets off my Preposterous meter. Jane and Dan, however, dragged me in from the start and I actually slowed down reading it so I could enjoy it more. It kept my interest throughout the whole yarn. Loved this book

It was a fun read that kept me engaged. I had to deal with my own disbelief in the outcome. I’m a realist and found the outcome a bit unrealistic. However, the book was entertaining.

Surprisingly, even though the title didn’t appear to me, I did enjoy reading the book. Enough twists and turns happened to keep this reader interested. The author included enough detail that Jane and Dan did seem like real people with “real relationship problems”.

Very fun and drolly funny. Jane was a tad over the top but the writing was excellent and kept her on the right side of the line. I really enjoyed the Mostly True Story of Tanner and Louse as well; this author has a real gift for capturing the push and pull of relationships.

This is definitely not a typical book that I would choose to read and I wanted to step out of my comfort zone. I did really enjoy the book. It was a quick read. I thought that the plot was fairly far fetched, but that added to the quirkiness of the whole thing. I wish that I had read this whole on a vacation because it’s a perfect vacation read.

I have an oddly uncomfortable feeling about the book. Funny, quirky, twisty, I suppose. I agree more with Renee_P. Light, easy fluff mixed with a very serious crime did not sit right with me.
