I really enjoyed it. It was a fun and quick read. The characters were quirky, the writing was good.

The book was a fun read, with plenty of humor throughout to keep you turning the pages. The whole premise didn’t seem realistic, yet you had to set that aside and just get into the possibilities. My preference is for my in-depth mystery stories, such as The Thursday Murder Club and The Marble Hall Murders.

This is a fun, tongue-in-cheek story with less than realistic characters but a humorous take on senior living.

I had such fun reading this book. I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. It was a great break from some of the more intense books I often read. I loved how the story/stories unfolded. Very entertaining.

I enjoyed this light-hearted murder mystery. The characters were likeable.

At first I thought the whole situation crazy, but the humor in the author’s reply in the story) was so humouous that it set the tone for the read. It is a fun ride!

I’m Not the Only Murderer in My Retirement Home was a funny, easy to read, easy to love, cozy book. I’ve lacked motivation reading lately, and this book knocked me out of my slump! I loved the characters (and loved to hate some of them).

It was funny easy to read and had some LOL moments. I have already recommended it to several people

I agree (fun and tongue-in-cheek)…but go a bit further. I thought it was a ‘spoof’ on all the

“Old Folks’ Mysteries” I’ve read in the past few years. The Thursday group, the Marlow

woman, and the Swedish ones. It was very entertaining (lots of laughter on my part), and exactly

the kind of mystery I needed after several “dark” Scandinavian books.

I thought it was well written, and was fun to read. I almost wish it were longer.

I thought it was a quick easy read and enjoyed it. I thought some of the character choices were kind of weird but I could see this turning into a series or even a TV show.

I didn’t love it at first, but the quirky characters and the author’s sense of humor won me over. In the end, it turned out to be a fun, quick read

Short chapters. Caricature people. Really humorous. A total escape from the real world. All in all, fun.

I really enjoyed it. The story had enough twists to keep me guessing and I came to like the characters, most of them anyway.

Loved it!! It was a great way to end my days. I always looked forward to it.

I definitely liked it! The humor, the unique take on the senior detective trope, and the characters!

It was a quick, fun read. Would make a good TV show.

I enjoyed this quirky crime thriller. So many guilty people. Absolutely loved the humor-chuckled many times…

This was the book I needed–a fun, light-hearted English mystery. I agree with Dotti_A that it spoofed Osman’s Thursday Murder Club & its ilk; even had the tongue-in-cheek reference to Marlow experiencing a crime wave. I immediately gave it to a friend who also needs a light read during these times & she’ll be passing it on to yet another friend & fellow book group member.
