How it works: you can go to https://www.bookbrowse.com/following (also available from the main menu under the ‘Members’ tab) and search for members to follow.

If you have friends or fellow book club members with great taste in books that you’d like to be able to follow regularly, you can invite them to BookBrowse via their email to sign up for free. We’re now offering limited free accounts for readers who want to participate in our community (without access to paid member benefits).
To encourage BookBrowsers to invite their friends, we’re offering free ‘Booked for the Summer’ T-Shirts to the top 10 members who invite and signup the most readers by 7/6!

What if I don’t want readers to follow my reviews?
Readers have the option to follow any other reader who shares a review of a title on BookBrowse.com - the easiest way to ‘opt out’ is to avoid submitting any reviews. Reading list comments are private, only reviews submitted via First Impressions or on a book’s page are public.
Do the readers I invite have to sign up as paid members?
To help keep BookBrowse as accessible as possible we now have a limited free membership option which provides access to the reading list and community features of BookBrowse without access to paid member benefits (somewhat similar to how The New York Times allows you to read an article or two for free each month). You can see full benefit breakdowns here.
How do I update my profile?
You can update your profile via your account settings, or via the forum (the two profiles should sync but if they do not, please let us know).
Is there a way to see who is following me?
Yes, you can see who is following you via the followers page here, also available from the top menu under the ‘Members’ tab. As this is a new feature, don’t be surprised if no one is following you.
How is this different from GoodReads?
The most significant difference is our community of readers, which is a special group. We also moderate reader review submissions to help maintain a quality bar and ensure reader reviews are more likely to be interesting and informative.
Now that readers have public profiles, can we create our own book groups on BookBrowse?
Not currently, but we’re working on it! There are already a handful of community book clubs here, and we’re working on allowing members to organize their own reading groups, both public and private. If you would like to suggest a new book group, feel free to reply below!
