This is a list that will probably resonate with many in this group because I know most have likely read something from this list.

I’ve read half this list and I think the one I might read next is Paradiso 17 which comes out in a couple of weeks.

Which ones have you read? Will you pick up others now?

Thanks for linking the list, Anne. I’ve read two or three and will search for other titles.

Thanks, Anne! More books for my TBR!

I’ve read:

The Correspondent
Heart the Lover
A Guardian and a Thief
Wild Dark Shore

… and there wasn’t a clunker in the bunch! Any of them deserves to win.

I own but haven’t read yet:

Flashlight
Audition

I’ve read mostly the same as you @kim.kovacs Have not read Majumdar. Conversely I’ve read Dominion and Audition.

I agree, they are all worthy. I didn’t care for Flashlight until I got to the very end.

I’ve read four of them and have a few others in the stack! The Correspondent (my #2 book of 2025), Heart the Lover, Audition, and Wild Dark Shore (also one of my 2025 favs)

That’s a great start on this list @Evonne_Benedict Depending on the outcome of the shortlist I might be inclined to read more of them.

I’ve read half as well. I’ve added the remainder to my TBR!!

I didn’t care for Flashlight at all*-and I thought I would never get to the very end.*

I completely understand your feelings @Leslie_R The end was a long time coming and a slog to get there. I did appreciate what we got at the end though.

I’m excited for the Correspondent, having seen her last year! And also wild, dark shore, the only two I’ve read!

I loved Wild Dark Shore although I don’t think it is my favorite by her. That honor goes to Once There Were Wolves.

I’ve only read ā€˜The Correspondent’ so have lots to catch up on here! Loved ā€˜The Correspondent’.

I hope you find some others just as special as The Correspondent.

I my humble opinion anything Charlotte McConaghy writes rates right up there on my list of favorite writers. Was first introduced to her talent when Book Browse sent me ā€œImmigrationsā€ one of her first books. Terrific read and I have been hooked on her since.

I started with *Migrations (*I think this is what you meant) also. In some ways it is still my favorite. It seems not all that many people have read it. I’m so glad you called it out.
