I believed it was Danny who killed Poppy. But had no reason as to why until it got closer to the ending. Was unsure about who killed Danny, although it seemed like the most obvious was Vincent. I did believe Vincent could do it given their fractured relationship. I really like the way the author wrapped up how the killings happened. In the end, for me, there really wasn’t a bad guy.
I was caught off guard by who killed Danny. Suggesting the teacher did it made no sense to me especially when it appears he had a quite a history of this type of behavior. He couldn’t just start killing anyone who said they’d tell.
Halfway through I was thinking Vincent could have killed Danny given their bad relationship and the fact that Danny taunted Vincent so much. I think Vincent was impulsive so that made it seem possible.
I didn’t think it was Vincent because it seemed like if he had done it they would have figured it out long ago. I also wasn’t sure who did it, except that I wondered about the teacher because he seemed a little suspicious.
I thought it was Danny, but it had me guessing. Well written for the suspence, a little confusing having to shift relationships as chapters changed. Vince was a little too obvious.
I thought that Vincent did it because the driver who picked up Poppy was never really fleshed out - why would a driver pick her up. He didn’t drop her off at home (good for Poppy), but we never had any information about him.
As Poppy was talking about her last moments, I thought Danny would’ve turned the knife onto himself out of guilt, that it was really a murder-suicide. But I believe Mr. Stewart killed Poppy just as she described, and then Lydia killed Danny thinking he had hurt Poppy and Vincent.
I had figured out Poppy’s killer, but I was totally blown away to find out who killed Danny. I will say from the get go, I felt like Vincent was totally innocent.
I was all over the place on who did it! I was suspicious of the creepy teacher/coach, Danny, and even suspected one of the parents for about a second. In the end I was a little surprised.
