Which of the minor characters did you find the most intriguing, and why?
I liked Lucienne and Grady. I thought Lucienne played important roles in the story and was instrumental in keeping Kit safe and in the resistance movement. Of course, I liked Grady’s role as a romantic interest for Ivy.
Grady and Harry were minor characters but had such a wonderful effect on others. Grady supported Kit in every way. Harry helped Rose make the decision to go home and be with her family at a crucial time. Lucienne protected others in the story as well. All three characters acted out of care and concern for others.
Definitely Grady. He intrigued me because he was so patient with Ivy and obviously developing feelings for her, but did not rush her or push her into a relationship with him. Rather, he showed his devotion and loyalty in a tangible, meaningful way.
