Which authors should we interview?

While it isn’t finalized, we want to start hosting author interviews right here on the BookBrowse Community Forum! This will allow everyone to engage in the conversation and hopefully lead to more interesting discussions

To help put together our schedule and prioritize which authors we invite, let us know which authors you’d like to interview!

I just finished Babylonia for the BookBrowse discussion (it was excellent, BTW). I’d love to hear more from the author, Costanza Casati, for starters, how she stumbled on this historical figure & what made her want to write about her.

Kristin Hannah, how do you keep finding ways to tug at my heartstrings?

One of my new favorite authors is Shannon Bowring, whose first two books, The Road to Dalton and Where the Forest Meets the River, were among my favorite this year. And she has a third in the series coming out! https://www.shannonlbowring.com/

Nick, I recently zoomed an author event with Ariel Lawhon discussing The Frozen River. She was amazing and fun. I think she would be a good choice especially since we will be doing a book club discussion with her book.

I also listened to her zoom event. She was fun and so informative. I also looked up her other books and found some I want to read.

Good choice! I am currently reading The Frozen River because the readers of BookBrowse recommended it. So there will be many who would likely participate.

I would also suggest a Louise Erdrich, Ann Patchett, or Elizabeth Strout.

I have seen the author on a zoom author event. She was amazing and a lot of fun. She did so much research while writing this book.

I agree with all three. I saw Ann Patchett once in person, also on a few zoom events. She would be enjoyed by all!

We are on the same reading path. I just finished Niall Williams’ Time of the Child and it was so good.

Marie Benedict would be a great interview. Her historical fiction novels about famous women in history are all terrific.
