What kind of influence do you think Lottie has on Becca's life even after Lottie's death? Is there someone who has continued to influence you, even after they’re gone?

What kind of influence do you think Lottie has on Becca’s life even after Lottie’s death? Is there someone who has continued to influence you, even after they’re gone?

I think that Lottie, through her love and care for Becca, always has some influence on Becca. She was such a giving person who was part of the foundation of Becca’s life and personality. I think her spirit helped Becca feel some peace after losing Evie, with the hope that Evie was safe and loved. I feel that I never forget those I love and the parts they played in my life, and I think of them often. I consider them my “angels” and often ask for their help.

Lottie, even in death, is enriching Becca’s life as can be seen with painted buttons, painted breadbox, the story book. Of course, there is! I am today what I was taught early on in my life. I have their mannerisms, some of their dishes and certainly the ability to love and care about others due to my loving ancestors and friends. As I near 80, I appreciate them more every day and hold them close to my heart.

I think Lottie had a great influence on Becca. Even though others thought Lottie strange, Becca valued what she taught her and loved the things she had that reminder her of Lottie.

Lottie gave Becca courage to be herself and act in her own best interests. My mother continues to influence me, and always will.

I think Lottie was such a loving influence on Becca. You can see that in the sacrifice that both of these ladies made. Lottie by not letting Becca know she was sick and Becca by not searching further for Evie to keep her safe. Loving sacrifices that had to be incredibly difficult to make. My grandmother died 25+ years ago and I think about her every few days. The grace she exhibited in all things, but especially how she handled aging has impacted me hugely. I’m blessed to still have my mother with me (93 years old) and she still influences me.
