Effie is still driven by her loyalty to her family. She loves her family and looks out for them.
She does still love her family and is protective of others, but she can be belligerent, quick to speak her mind, and can close herself off from others.
She is self-reliant and loves her siblings.
Her ability to compartmentalize and go into survival mode
She’s still an independent, questioning person.
Effie is not a trusting person. She keeps people at a distance. She is independent and keeps things close to the vest. However she loves deeply and remembers important things.
She didn’t seem that different as an adult.
