What did you know about Mary Quant and her various business lines before reading the book?

I knew nothing about MQ, other than she was a ‘leader’ of the British fashion trend in the early 60s.

I was intrigued by the story and did some further research on her, Alexander Plunket Green and Archie McNair after I finished the book.

All I knew about Mary Quant was her name. I thought she was the model, not the designer. This novel really helped her stand out as a business woman to me.
