Agree. I’m enjoying it, as well and will offer it as a possible read for our next book club book.

Just finished The Wedding People! Tough subjects, but humorous, as well.

I just finished Hour of the Witch after being inspired by Chris Bojalians author interview. It is a great book in my opinion.
My audio read has been Don’t Let the Devil Ride by Ace Atkins. It’s compared to S.A. Cosby’s writing but I found it less violent and less pointed in confronting racism. Yet the detective was thoroughly settled in his Black culture, and not afraid to look racism in the face. The book was more about the excesses of greed to me.
Also picking up and putting down, Heretic by Catherine Nixey. This one is going to take time, because it’s not as compelling as some of the other books on the TBR shelf.
