Upcoming author Q&As

Wow, we’ve got some great authors dropping by over the next couple of months:

04/27-04/29: Donna Everhart (Women of a Promiscuous Nature)
05/07-05/09: Amelia Ireland (The Seven O’Clock Club)
05/18-05/20: James Lasdun(The Family Man)
06/01-06/03: Zayd Ayers Dohrn (Dangerous, Dirty, Violent, and Young)
06/09-06/11: Jaleigh Johnson (The Reimagining of Thornwood House)
06/15-06/17: Lauren J.A. Bear (Aphrodite in Pieces)
06/29-07/01: Izzy Broom (The House of Hidden Letters)
08/04-08/06: Lynn Cullen (When We Were Brilliant)

All of these writers have books that were released this year, and which were featured at BookBrowse (five as part of our First Impressions program, three discussed for our BookBrowse Book Club). If you haven’t had a chance to read these authors’ work, you may want to consider adding them to your TBR stack. Each of the books listed here is excellent and comes highly recommended by our membership.

Please keep your eye out for each discussion’s opening date, and stop by!

You can check out all upcoming BookBrowse events on our Events Calendar.

Good to hear, @Elizabeth. They were all very well rated by our BookBrowse readers, so I hope we’ll get lots of participation.

Great lineup, Kim. I like being able to ask questions of authors as this adds to my appreciation of their work, not just the story, but the incredible background of research they all seem to conduct.

Thanks, @NanK! Sometimes I wonder if folks find the Q&As worthwhile since sometimes no one asks questions. But then I see a lot of people following along, and I know others have gone back later and read the conversation when prepping for their book club discussions.

The conversation with Donna Everhart is off to a wonderful start (and thanks for contributing!). Her personal journey is fascinating. I can’t imagine how she was able to keep writing.

Yes, I agree with the other replies. It is a good selection and especially that you for the advanced notice so I will be able to prepare.

Thank you Kim for posting the authors and their books. I really enjoyed reading The Seven O’Clock Club and am looking forward to that discussion.
