Too Old for This is Samantha Downing’s sixth book. Have you read any of her novels, and if so, how does it compare to this one?
I read HE STARTED IT and didn’t like it.
I also read MY LOVELY WIFE - it was along the same lines….hard to believe what she was doing.
I haven’t read any of Downing’s books before this one but I’d be interested in checking out others to see how they are.
No, I haven’t read any of her other books and if they are all written along the same lines, I probably wouldn’t be interested.

This is my first novel by Samantha Downing. In looking at the descriptions, I don’t think she is the author for me.

No, I hadn’t read this author before. It’s not likely I will read her other books. My TBR list is long!
No, this is my first by Downing and I agree with the people here who don’t think they will read her others. Not my favorite genre.

I haven’t read any of Samantha Downing’s other books, but I did just order My Lovely Wife.
This is the first book of hers I have read. It doesn’t motivate me to read more. I’m curious to see what others say allowing for the possibility that this is a one-off.

I have not read any of her other books, and from the sounds of it, I don’t think I would like any of them any more than this one.
I have watched Downing’s career grow. There are a couple other of her novels on my to be read list, but this is a first read of this author for me.
The other book by this author I have read is My Lovely Wife. Although there are similarities between that book and Too Old for This, I liked the first book better. In creating the character of Lottie, I think the author went way over the top. I found Lottie to be totally unlikable as well as being a narcissist and a sociopath. I know some readers found this funny, but it just didn’t work for me.

I have not read any of her work but, after reading Too Old For This I certainly will. I really liked this book. The proof of that is that it so easily drew me in that I had to slow down and read a chapter at a time, just to wallow in it. I really enjoyed this book
I’ve read and loved all of her books. She’s brilliant and each one of her books has a unique storyline told with her signature style – twisty; quirky characters; dark humor; sneakily thought-provoking. I’ll read anything she writes.
I agree Though I appreciated the quick read and the surprises I have many more books to read on my list.
