I think anyone who likes a bit of a mystery would like the book. I think I requested the book because I was intrigued about a mystery in a bakery, I mean who doesn’t love a bakery. A similar book is The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner.

I would recommend this book to those who like historical fiction particularly in the WWII era. Plus those who like a bit of supernatural mystery.

It is a fun book for anyone who loves Paris or the thought of Paris, especially its bakeries. There is a bit of mystery and history as well as conflict and romance but very easy reading and uplifting without being artificially profound

I think the book will be interesting to almost anyone. There is historical data, baking, and love interests.

I would recommend for a Book Club, those that like the back drop of France and baking.

I would recommend this book to anyone. It is a feel good book.

I recently read Under the Whispering Door (shortly after reading this book) and I saw the parallels with the tea shop in TJ Klune’s book in how nourishing people beyond physical need with food/drink can be as rewarding an experience for the provider as the one receiving the nourishment.

I would recommend it to anyone that wants a light cozy mystery that is a little predictable. Also, anyone who likes books sent in France and World War 2.
