Think readers who enjoy cozy mysteries with books as a theme, and especially Agatha Christie and Bridgerton novels, would enjoy this book.

While any amateur sleuth cozy is fraught with a busybody or two, a busybody extraordinaire mystery series that came to mind while reading this book was Jesse Q Sutanto’s Vera Wong series.

I think readers who enjoy cozy mysteries and anyone who enjoys amateur sleuths would enjoy this book.

I think the Vera Wong mysteries and also the Thursday Murder Club, since they both deal with a varied group of sleuths. I enjoyed all the Thursday Murder Club mysteries and the first Vera Wong. I thought they were all better than the Busybodies.

@Nancy_Read the Thursday Murder Club was the first series that came to my mind as well.

I agree Thursday Murder Club series and Vera Wong’s series are better than The Busybody Book Club.

I agree with you. I love Bridgerton and Agatha Christie so I am not surprised I enjoyed this book.
Jesse Q Sutano’s Vera Wong character might have gotten along with Phyllis. Now that would be interesting, lol

I definitely felt a similarity to the characters from The Thursday Murder Club, one of my favorite reads.

I also thought The Thursday Murder Club. Cozy mystery fans would like it. I do think it’s a good book club book. Lots of discussion points.

I read a book called The Rejected Writer’s Book Club by Suzanne Kelman that made me laugh like this book.

I would recommend this to any book club where they are looking for a good book that has great characters and a good ending.

I do agree with those who had said “cozy mystery” lovers. It was a quick and light read. I have an author friend, Julie Mulhern, whose book series comes to mind. Hers are also light and very entertaining, more so than this novel.

I would say this would be for anyone who likes cozy mysteries. It is a fast and quick read. No gore or bad language or sex.

This is a book for anyone who just wants to read a Cozy Mystery. I think sometimes you just want to read something that is entertaining.
