I think readers who enjoy dystopian settings would definitely enjoy this one.

It’s a good story for people to read even though it borders on sci/fi. Ultimately, one has to think “what if” and since it isn’t possible, “how might I better live the life I have?”

Reminds me of a book I read many years ago called “Replay” by Ken Grimwood. Jeff Winston, forty-three, didn’t know he was a replayer until he died and woke up twenty-five years younger in his college dorm room; he lived another life. And died again. And lived again and died again – in a continuous twenty-five-year cycle – each time starting from scratch at the age of eighteen to reclaim lost loves, remedy past mistakes, or make a fortune in the stock market. A novel of gripping adventure, romance, and fascinating speculation on the nature of time, while asking the question: “What if you could live your life over again?” This book is different in nature but still reminds me of the same themes.

As far as recommending this book, I have already told my family it is a must read. It will make for lots of thoughtful discussion at our next gathering.

I agree with Janine_S - I think readers who enjoy dystopian and sci fi themes would enjoy this book.

I do feel the people like the dystopian genre would find this book appealing. It does bring up good questions about what would you change if you had the opportunity to go back.

I think anyone who likes dystopian topics or likes a good philosophical debate would most certainly enjoy this. I can see it being great for a book club.
