Think about the ramifications of going from 100 to 50 versus 50 to 25. What is the same? What is different?

Gaining more flexibility body wise would be a marvelous thing in going back to 50. And for someone who might have dementia getting a better brain would be beautiful - assuming that person wasn’t already experiencing that. But trying to regain something you didn’t experience at 50 isn’t going to happen as Tom learned.

There’s a huge difference in one’s body from 50/25 and 100/50. The latter would also have the advantage of wisdom to create a better life.

Gaining body flexibility is a plus no matter if it was 100 to 50 or 50 to 25. However trying to experience something you missed earlier in life is not always what it is cracked up to be.

I gather from the story if you first reset to 25 and the 2nd reset you go to 75. If you make it to 100 for the 3rd reset does that make you immortal? You go back to 50 and in my way of thinking, you made it to 100 once, can you do it again?

Perhaps one of the most difficult aspects of returning to either age would be confronting the absence of everyone lost during the journey to 50 and especially 100.

I think it would be hardest on the loved ones experiencing the change, especially if it resulted in no life in the second reset. The person resetting may have gained more than would have if they had not rest but the people around them would experience an abrupt loss.

Who says there is a change at 100 years? And who says it has to be to a younger person? What if you go forward by 25 or 50 years. I think I would welcome a change of going from 100 to 50 years old more so than being 50 and going back to 25. It is usually around 50 that we start to slow down due to age - our bodies start to show proof of aging and we deteriorate with each passing year. But at 100 to go back to 50, would be phenomenal, all the aches and pains of that 50 years would be gone.
