Hi all, just got one of my April books in the mail, ‘Erased’. Nothing like the smell of a new book to inspire you to start reading!!
Haha, I’ve never thought about the “new book smell.” Guess that’s something they need to build into my next Kindle - a little puff of that aroma every now & then to keep me reading. 
Opening up my computer this morning and reading your words brought a smile to my face. I have been reading for a very long time and can truthfully say I have never noticed that new book smell of which you speak. And these days even less so the possibility because nearly all of the reading I do is with my ears. I do have a book on the way from BookBrowse to review, so I have made a mental note to take a sniff once it arrives. Thank you for brightening up my morning!

Haha! Yes, I alternate between the kindle and real books due to an eye condition.
New book smell - I associate that with high school or college texts IF they were new rather than used and recycled!
I would buy new book smell room spray! When I walk into a bookstore or library I feel myself relaxing.
