Should Anna still be a cop?

Based on her admitted transgressions, should Anna still be allowed to remain a cop at the end of the story?

Great question, @Mark_S! I thought very early on that she shouldn’t. Several times I felt her behavior crossed the line and would have gotten her fired had anyone found out. (Stealing evidence? Breaking into her psychiatrist’s office?)

While I questioned her future as a police officer, apparently the author wanted Anna to continue; thus the next book. In reality, her actions would have led to being fired OR perhaps she would be given the opportunity to resign and a reasonable letter of recommendation given to her for future police employment. Seems to happen.

Have you been on tour for the book, and if so, what can you tell us about the experience?

How involved did you get in the creation of the audio version of the novel? Are there any screenplays in the works?

No, after all her actions, I would say no, she shouldn’t still be a cop. Her behavior is not acceptable.

I thought she should not be a cop.

I don’t think Anna should remain a cop. She crossed the line several times and that was it for me.

Yes, I agree that Anna crossed the line several times and probably shouldn’t be a cop, but selfishly I want there to be more books in the series.

Probably not. I mean, plenty of police are less than perfect, but she definitely proved that her personal issues will override her judgment regarding her actions. As others have said, she crossed the line.
