Chuka seemed like a “good one” – but I understand Chia’s reluctance to attach herself to someone so satisfied and set in his ways. I also, of course, had high hopes for Kwame and Zikora – until!!! The variety of ways Adichie chose to illustrate how men can treat women poorly was truly breathtaking!
