I read The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald every 2-3 years and never get tired of it. The writing is gorgeous and it has the best last line in all of literature. Another of my favorite short reads was Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton, but have the tissues ready. I read it many years ago and it still breaks my heart.
