I sure hope that people can be healed from trauma by people who love and care about them. Also a good therapist is important! Someone who will just listen!

I liked Nick and liked the fact that he genuinely cared for Anna, and as we find out he had his own connection to the killer. I think that helped cement their relationship, as they could hopefully help each other through their experiences. And Anna didn’t have to worry about telling him who she really was and if he could accept her.

No, it doesn’t. The story didn’t change my feelings about forgiveness and healing from trauma. The author again used a plot device that has been incorporated into many other stories, but did so effectively and provided a satisfying conclusion to the story.

I kinda expected Nick to be more than a former boyfriend. I did like the connection that was made at the end.

I liked Anna and Nick’s characters and was glad that he was able to not put the burden of her father’s actions that inflicted trauma in his life on his feelings towards Anna.
