Morgan often decides whom to trust or how to act based on instinct and gut feeling. What did you think of this investigative technique? Do you think it made her more or less effective than more traditional investigators?
It worked for her. I felt that sometime it made little sense.I guess I am more of a thinking person. The acring on instincts is confusing for me
Since I haven’t read any other books with this character, it might be an attribute the author has used before. Perhaps seasoned investigators might use logic, facts and gut feelings.
I think it makes sense due to her investigating questionable beings, would logic really work? I prefer a more logical approach along with the instinct.
I of the ‘trust but verify’ school. And she only used intuition to a limited extent or she would not have experienced some of the unfortunate consequences she had
Probably a more effective investigator; however it put her in some dangerous situations. Her going to the cabin alone when she got the text that supposedly was from Frank is one example. Thank heavens for her dog, Newt.
