I couldn’t help but think of the book “The Art Thief” and how easily small works of art were stolen from stately homes and small museums. I king about the parallels between the two books.

I’ve read many books about “art theft” but don’t remember the term Lost Art Registry. I am aware of the magnitude of art theft. It’s not pursued enough by law enforcement.
