Several of us are discussing reading Tolstoy’s classic, War and Peace, over the summer. It’s an enormous book, but we think that if we chunk it up it’s approachable. We’re currently thinking about 100 pp a week, which averages out to a very doable 15 pages a day - perhaps with the occasional catch-up week thrown in there.
I’ve read the novel before, and I thought it was excellent historical fiction. I never felt it dragged, and I enjoyed it tremendously at the time. I hope you’ll join me in tackling this monster.
