If Morgan hadn’t uncovered the truth, do you believe Andy would have been found guilty of Brandon’s murder?

Everything pointed towards Andy. He was lucky that Morgan was on the case!

I think he might have been found innocent especially after finding the items underneath him. At that point we didnt know the rest of the story so those items alone could have led to reasonable doubt.

If this had been set 50 years ago, then he’d probably have gone down for it. But I can’t imagine that with all the forensic tools out there that they wouldn’t have figured out the knife wasn’t the murder weapon.

I think he may have been found guilty. The sheriff did not seem interested in looking into the murder. It was a small town. They did not have many murders. I think they would have taken the easy way.

I agree with Renee. I’m not sure the local police were equipped to handle a murder like this and the townsfolk did not want to disrupt the tourist trade.

Yes especially since the police were on the take, so they wanted a scapegoat.

I think the town was so blinded by their focus on tourism that no one really cared enough to find out if Andy was innocent. So, yes, I believe Andy would have been found guilty.

Well if I were Andy and charged with murder, I’d want my trial moved to a very far away county in Wisconsin!

Totally! The police just want a resolution. (at least if all the detective shows I watch are any indication!) It takes a special person to dig out the truth. Love Morgan!

I do think he would have been found guilty. It seems that the police were bias. Also, there was a community pressure to keep the idea of a creature causing violence debunked.

While there is a great deal of forensic testing possible which could have helped Andy, the sad fact is that most towns cannot afford the testing, and it is not available.

I agree with Renee and Holly. It didn’t seem to have the importance or interest in serious investigation except for Morgan’s efforts.

I would not think he would be convicted because the description of the victim’s injuries suggest they could not have been made by another human being

Yes. The town needed to blame it on someone to keep all their tourists.

I agree. It seemed they felt they had their person and it was an open and shut case.
