Have you seen Case Histories, the BBC series based on the Jackson Brodie books? If so, what did you think of the casting? How about the story itself – does it adhere to the books or diverge?

I haven’t seen it yet but I think I might give it a try.

When was this series first shown?

Looks like it ran from 2011-2013 on the BBC. It can be watched via a number of different streamers, including Amazon Prime.

Thanks for that info, Kim. I haven’t seen Case Histories but certainly would like to, so will start looking for them soon.

I was intrigued and went looking on PBS and discovered it’s no longer available to stream there. I’m going to poke around some more…but Amazon is not an option for me.

Update: not on Amazon
I will check out Case Histories on Amazon - many of the reviews stated that Jackson Brodie was a great character in the other books, will check those out too.

I have not seen Case Histories but now I am curious and will try to watch. I am thinking that maybe seeing this series will help me grasp the book better.

I had seen Case Histories and thought Jackson Brodie was played perfectly, but of course can’t think of the actor’s name. I think I mentioned earlier that there wasn’t enough Brodie in this book for me.
