Have you read any of the author’s other novels? If so, how does Women of a Promiscuous Nature compare?
I have not read any of Donna Everhart’s other novels. But I found her writing to be very engaging and now I plan to read more of her books!
I have never read any of Donna Everhart’s other books. I am so glad Bookbrowse introduced her to me. I enjoy Southern writers, and I am looking forward to her book, When the Jesamine Grows as my next read.
I have read three other books by this author and enjoyed all of them, which made me request this book. Like this novel, Ms. Everhart’s other novels mostly take place in North Carolina and her characters are teenagers or young women who are usually treated poorly in some aspect and must be resilient, work hard to survive harsh environments, and learn to overcome the odds against them. I would definitely recommend her books to other readers and I look forward to the next one she writes.
For those who’ve read other books by this author, is there one in particular you’d recommend? She’s visiting us later in the month for a Q&A, and I’d like to read at least one more of her novels, but she’s got several so I’m looking for suggestions.
