Edie says, “Ever since I could remember, I’d been obsessed with the city of love.” What is it about Paris, in your opinion, that leads so many to think of it in those terms? Have you been to Paris? Would you like to go, if you had a chance?

I’ve only visited briefly, but I’m planning a longer vacation early next year (this book helped with that decision!). Reading the comments here also pushed me in that direction.
