Do you prefer books set in real or fictional places? Have you ever been to Greenwich? If you have, do you think it was depicted well?

In truth, if it’s a good book I don’t particularly care if the book is set in real or fictional places. As for Greenwich, I’ve not been there so I have no idea if it was depicted well or not.

I agree! I enjoy a book if its set in a place I’ve been, but it coudl be on MArs, if its a well written story!

If the book is good, location not a factor. However if I’ve been to a story location it brings it closer to home.

I actually like books set in real places. If I’ve been there, it’s an added bonus.

I have only traveled through books, so I love both real and imaginary places. I love a good space opera, and fantasy is also big with me. I regularly reread the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
