Do you believe Caleb will ever follow Emilie to Texas?
Gosh, I hope so. Maybe after family responsibilities are fulfilled? He has loved her all of his life and I think the absence of her will be too much for him in the long run.
Yes, in my heart I think Caleb and Emilie and the children will all be together. They both are so in love with one another and I picture them all together in the near future. And Emilie is now expecting Caleb’s child.
I feel a stage is set for a sequel where Caleb and Emilie will continue their relationship. Not that she needs a man but that they would make a good family and enjoy life together.
Once his parents pass and things are settled where he’s at, I think he will follow Emilie. It’s my “Happily Ever After” wish for that to happen.
When I read Caleb was staying it didn’t even cross my mind he would follow her eventually. I am not sure why? Thinking about it now, I think the relationship they had and how it ended was enough for both of them.
I want to think that he will follow her especially after their baby is born. They both love each other so I am going to say yes he will join her in Texas.
I agree with jillg and I hope he will join her.
Yes. I believe that Caleb and Jace will follow Emilie after his parents pass away. I find it interesting that he bought her land.
I do think Caleb will join Emilie in the future. There is the obvious respect they have always had for each other and a child on the way. Someone brought up a sequel….that also!
I’d like to think so. Emilie certainly had enough heartache in her life. She deserves a happy ending.
Yes! He knows she is waiting for him. They both know they love each other. Once his parents die, he is on his way to Texas!
I am hoping there will be a sequel written which should bring Caleb to Emilie and his child in Texas. I would think after both his parents are gone he will feel freed to go.
No, I don’t think Caleb will follow Emilie to Texas. He is responsible for his family and won’t feel able to leave them behind, especially with his father being ill.
Yes, probably the next book? Caleb has loved Emilie for a long time and soon as he can work it out to leave he will.
I agree with both jiig and Connie_K. Don’t even need to say more–another baby, parental responsibilities complete, love, and a sequel.
If India Hayford wrote predictable books, I would say yes, but she doesn’t.
