Did you believe Chloe was justified in any of her actions? Was there truth to some of the things she said to Hadley?
Her actions were horrible. Yes she was treated badly when she was younger but what she did was so wrong. In reality now knowing Hadley again could have benefited her. She chose the wrong path.
No I do not. We all experienced such actions in our lives and if we spent the time getting even, what a waste of time. Better to try live a life you can be proud of rather getting even.

I did not respect Chloe. She was devious and vindictive. Her immaturity showed throughout the story. I wanted to shake her by the shoulders and tell her to grow up, become your own person, don’t blame others as if you had no control over your life’s choices. Geez!
Trust in her comments to Hadley, 100%. Justified in her actions, 0%!
I would hope that Chloe got the help she needed. Her actions were not justified and they were unhinged. I can see how her feelings were hurt when she and Hadley were kids and Hadley didn’t do what she expected her to do. Hadley didn’t owe her anything.
I don’t think that Chloe’s actions were justified. Many people use the excuse that they were dealt a bad hand growing up which they seem to feel gives them the freedom to do what they wish with impunity. There was some truth in what she said but that still does not excuse her actions. I also think that she got off too easy.
No I didn’t think her actions were justified at all. I think that no matter what excuse she gave she should have been removed. I’m not so sure a psychiatrist is going to change her into a good person.
Chloe was not at all justified to do the things she did. Whether there was any truth to the matter, it was unacceptable and abhorrent behavior.
Cresta_F, I agree. Bad things may have happened to her, but it does not justify her actions.
As Hadley said, Chloe had every opportunity, save being a nepo baby. She went to private schools and had chances to succeed, but she was so twisted by jealousy that she ruined those chances. While I don’t condone bullying and can see why she felt mistreated, her actions went far beyond what was appropriate. She was twisted and psychotic. I was not happy with the resolution of that part of the story.
Hadley admitted that some of the hurts and disadvantages that Chloe struggled with were real, but I don’t believe that hardship and struggles justify her animosity and evil actions towards the other characters. Many people suffer, but they don’t all return evil with evil–some people bring empathy for others out of their suffering.
