A Sydney library has removed a book critical of Israel called How to Sell a Genocide, following a complaint reportedly from a survivor of the Bondi beach terror attack.
What a contrast this situation is to the willy-nilly book banning taking place in our country. The headline seems to misrepresent the situation as I am understanding it. I’m so happy to see a considered approach being taking to investigate and decide based on the facts of the situation. I guess it is still unknown what their final decision will be. Libraries are meant to represent all people and I genuinely hope they are allowed to continue to do so.
@Jerah if you happen to see the final outcome I’d love to know which way this goes. Thanks!
