And because I love both lists and adding to my impossibly long TBR list…

Bookriot has released their choices for the 50 best historical fiction titles of the century so far. How many have you read? 21 for me, and for the most part I agree with their selections. I was thrilled to see The Lilac People made the list. That one, in my opinion, was one of the best historical fiction works I’d read in a really long time. The other on the list that has stuck with me over the years is Code Name Verity.

I’m surprised that I have read 25. Many of them are older titles and titles my book club has chosen over the years.

I have only read 8 out of the 50, however 2 are on my TBR list.

Great list! I enjoy historical fiction most of the time. Have already read 10 of this list. Also got names for more I have wanted to read. Thanks for sharing.
