Baker’s personal and professional life is filled with triumphs and failures. What did you admire most about her? What did you dislike most? Do you think she got away with too much?
Baker had a flare for organization, creating systems, setting a process in place. That’s all I can think of as redeemable for her. Most of what she creates, however, is faulty from a humane perspective, lacks tolerance, is self-serving. She manipulated and controlled to get away with anything and much too much. I don’t find anything I “admire” about her - her skill set is a flare, not a redeeming quality. I do not find much to “admire”, a lot to dislike, and she definitely was out of control.
I honestly need to just copy and paste what Lorraine_D said, above. Without empathy and concern for common decency for other humans, then the ability to create schedules and keep organized files does not make someone admirable as far as I am concerned.
I did not like Baker at all. However, I was really glad that she didn’t send Stella back to her family.
Unfortunately, to me, there was nothing to admire. Her insecurities led to her abuse of women and a lack of empathy. She also lacked any self awareness that would have allowed her to see how she was really treating others
Baker’s administrative talents were her best feature. She also rescued Stella in the end, after exploiting and using her.
I disliked her rigidity in relation to the procedures she set in place. Yes, she was left fairly unsupervised and definitely got away with too much.
