Authors that should have more love

Hi Readers,
Linda Holmes has a new book out called Back After This, and I just got it. I have read her two previous books, Evie Drake Starts Over and Flying Solo. Both were solid smart romance books. I would compare her to Emily Henry books.

This made me think that while Emily Henry is very successful (no shade, I enjoy her books) but why is Linda Holmes not breaking through?

Do you have other authors that you want to receive more love? Underappreciated gems that we should all know about? Thanks, I can’t wait to add to my TBR listing! Happy Reading, Dee

Thank you! I have to check her out. There is a beside that allows you to type in an author’s name and the site shoots out a “tree” of other author names that are related and/or similar to the author…. Have to find it!

Claire Pooley. What an amazing author. British humor, very likeable and thought provoking at the same time. Touches on themes about aging and how aging people see themselves and how they fit into society. Brings up how important friendships are today and throughout our lives as we age. People need to invest in their friendships and be intentional about them.

Sophie Kinsella. Funny and thought provoking too. So many books written by this superb talent. She will be sincerely missed.

Lucinda Riley- wow. so many phenomenal, and well developed stories that are character driven. she too is sadly missed. We would love for our favorite authors to live forever and write forever, wouldn’t we ?! I love the European settings, the complicated families and the moving love stories.
