I have been an avid reader for most of my (very long) life. I have had a book blog - booksage.blogspot.com - since 2011. And I have been running a book club since September of 2014. Our book club is unique in that, prior to the pandemic, the author always came to our sponsoring bookstore, Recycle Books in Campbell, CA. Due to the pandemic, we switched to Zoom meetings. We now connect with authors both locally and from around the country. We have maintained Zoom because we picked up a number of members from areas in other parts of the country. Our current membership is 170, and we average 10-25 members at a meeting. We always get permission from the author to record the session so that we can the recording to our entire membership.
