Your last book purchase: What’s the last book you bought? Why did you choose it? Where did you purchase it? What format is it in (audio, paperback, etc.)? How soon will you read it?

The Soul of an Octopus is fascinating. I loved it and have recommended it to anyone who liked Remarkably Bright Creatures. For me Montgomery’s non-fiction book was even better.

I purchased ‘There is No Place for Us; Working and Homeless in America’ by Brian Goldstone in paperback from our local bookstore in Ann Arbor, Literati. I read it already for book club coming up in September and found it to be eye-opening, informative, and well-written. Highly recommend!!

The Pirate Queen. Read the sample on Libby. Wait time was too long so ordered on Amazon ( none used anywhere yet) . Hardback. Also, The Summer Book by Tove Johnnson. That one used. Like to buy books I might read again. Creating my own “Memorial Library” of favorites (most used).
