Overall, what did you think of Women of a Promiscuous Nature? (No spoilers in this thread, please!)

Finding historical novels that expose a previously “unknown to me” topic is always a win! This novel used fiction to relate factual history in a way that made it readable and engrossing (not to mention eye-opening!). Definitely would recommend to anyone interested in women’s history.

While I found the topic interesting and was completely unaware of this part of our American history, I felt the book was somewhat repetitive, and that certain statements and thoughts were reflective of the author taking facts from previously published materials and giving them back to us. I would say it’s an interesting book but not a favorite. Likely I won’t be recommending it to others.
