Looking for a page-turner

Culpability! An absolute page-turner and interesting topic. The main character is not the most likeable but get past that and enjoy the ride.

I just started reading Anthony Horowitz. I’ve read 2 and I think I’m hooked.

The Horowitz books are so fun! There are different series and I think my favorite is the Hawthorne series. It’s been great to read the Ryland series and then watch the adaptations on PBS.

It sounds like you’re looking for THE LOST MAN by Jane Harper. Or 11/22/63 by Stephen King.

Cellist of Sarajevo. Pulled me in. Maybe not a typical page-turner

Thank you all for the Martini Club recommendations. Sounds like just what I need for an upcoming 5-hour airline flight!

Currently reading Under The Falls, by Richard Russo. Reading it in record time, for me. I just can’t put it down

I picked up the novel Five by Ilona Bannister after 2 friends highly recommended it. I found I to be an excellent, well crafted thriller that I literally could not put down for the 1 1/2 days it took me to read it. I wish that I could nominate Five for a book award! The writing is extraordinary! Please provide feedback if you read it.

I thought that Promise me Never by Liv Constantine was a page turner with a twist.
Also The Mystic and the Missing girl by Vikki Van Sickle was a cozy mystery with some magic.

I am reading Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke. I’m not sure yet if its a fantasy, thriller, mystery or what! It’s about a “influencer” who presents herself as a very traditional wife and mother but is not! One day she wakes up in 1855 and she must be a wife and mother in that era. What is real? What is fantasy? A vey modern take on “be careful what you wish for”! I am hooked!

I love Steve Cavanagh (mystery/legal thriller genre), and Th1rt3en was the first book I read by him. It had a very unique premise that hooked me from the beginning. I’ve found all the books by T.J Neuman (Falling, Drowning, Worst Case Scenario) to be “read in one sitting” books that had a high octane propulsion (thriller genre). I found Kindred by Octavia Butler (historical fiction) compelling, and read it one sitting, too.
