Hi @Kathleen_H1!

Here’s how I’d do it -

• Go to the first post (the one with the template), & highlight all the text you want to copy with your mouse.
• Type Ctrl+c to copy
• Click the blue Reply button to create a new post.
• Type Ctrl+v to paste the tasks into the new post.
• Add anything you want, such as what books you might be planning for a specific task.
• Click the blue Reply button under the comment box to post your tasks.

When you’re ready to mark a task off, add books, whatever, click the three little dots next to the grey Reply arrow under your comment, then click the pencil icon to edit. When done, click the blue Reply button under the comment to post.

I hope that helps! Let me know if not.

Connie_K, I finished Drive your plow over the bones of the dead. It was a wild ride, and I don’t think I have read anything like it. I thought it combined literary fiction with mystery and fable and philosophical thoughts (hunting, invisibility of senior women, etc.) It was weird and so different. I did like it as I loved her prose, but it is so different for me, I am not sure I will read her again. Ok, how about you?

@Dee_Driscole I’m just seeing your response today.(8-24) I read it back in 2019 I think when it was published so details are foggy, but I loved the Blake aspect, the protagonist’s personality, and discussing the “Polish-ness” with my husband who grew up there. I found it just different/quirky enough to be fun/challenging but certainly not difficult to read. You’ve inspired me to give it a re-read and offer it up to my book club. We get tired of the same old same old.

@Connie_K, I am so glad I read it. I recommended it to my book club, too. We haven’t made our decisions yet, but I agree, we need different books. There is a part in the book where a Polish character makes fun of the Czech language, that it sounds less serious and childlike. Like you, I checked with Polish people I know, and this is a true bias. It seems the Polish language is more of a guttural sound and even has two additional letters/sounds in the alphabet. I then looked it up on google, and yep, it is true how different they sound. Not bad, just different. Who knew? I agree, any book that uses Blake or poetry gets my attention.
