Do you ever contemplate how your life would have turned out differently had you married a different person, taken a different job, or moved to the city you were thinking about?

oh gosh, I wonder how many of us havent had those thoughts! If I had it to do all over again, I think I woud have done a few things differently…but then I wouldn’t be who I am today! It was fun reading about the alternatives that Lauren’s life could have taken with different husband choices…

First: I do this often because my 81 year old husband isn’t like I thought he would be 51 years ago! However, I then remember that I wouldn’t have had the fulfilling life I’ve had over these 50 plus years; wouldn’t have had the wonderful daughter I have or the two great granddaughters! And I agree as someone mentioned, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
Second: Best I can tell no men have responded to this question. Ummm?
Third: When I do go through the “What ifs” I think about advice I wish I had received; wished I had given, and plan to offer to my middle school granddaughters as it relates to relationships and careers.
