Do you consider Anna’s story complete now, or do you see room for her story to continue? And along those lines, what’s next for you, and when should we look for it to hit bookstores?
I’m a pretty solitary writer. I have some friends I can bounce ideas off of, and my husband always reads my first drafts. My agent has a lot of good editorial insight, and it’s really helpful to get additional perspectives for what works and what doesn’t. It’s so hard to see the flaws in my own work without input!
Oh, I would love for that to happen! If anyone from Netflix is reading, please get in touch!
I think Anna’s story is complete for now. I got the answers that I wanted from writing the second book, and I think she did, too. I think it will be good to let her story rest a bit to breathe and see if any new questions emerge that I want to explore by writing her.
I’m not sure what’s next for me as a writer! I have a couple of ideas that I’m playing with now, time will tell if they grow legs and are publishable.
I’ve really enjoyed this writing journey, and I’m excited to see what’s next, too!
I’m sorry to hear Anna’s story is on pause. I really like the character, particularly her ambiguity.
