BookBrowsers Ask Izzy Broom

Oh, I do love a book event! I’ve been all over the UK promoting my own work – from Edinburgh to Bristol to Manchester to Cornwall and London. I also enjoy chairing panels of other writers. Last summer, I hosted a Crime vs Romance panel at Nottingham City Library, with three crime authors on one side and three romance writers on the other – that was a ton of fun! My dream is to tour the States. I’d love to visit every bookstore and library that has a copy of my book, meeting readers along the way. If I’m invited, I’ll find a way to get there! That’s my rule.

One of my most memorable events was at the Corfu Literary Festival in Greece, which is held in a tiny bookshop tucked away in the island’s grand old town. My ninth novel, The Summer Trip, was set in Corfu, and to be able to talk about it in that setting was a real pinch-me moment.

Thank you so very much for your wonderful answers to our questions. Before we wrap up, is there anything you’d like to mention that we haven’t covered? Anything you wish we’d asked about?

It has been such a treat to be here. Thank YOU for inviting me along and for all the wonderful questions. I honestly think you’ve covered everything! Do feel free to reach out on my social media channels if anything comes up. I’m isabelle_broom on most platforms and Isabelle Broom Author on Facebook. Also, one of my backlist titles, The Getaway, is going into a Kindle Monthly Deal over in the States this month, so if anyone is interested in checking that out, you can do so for 99 cents! It takes place in Croatia and begins with a very humiliating proposal…

Ooh! I’ll definitely be doing that.

And for those who are interested, you can sign up for Izzy’s newsletter here.

Thank you again for being here, Izzy, you’ve been amazing. We’ll be looking for the sequels to The House of Hidden Letters for sure - can’t wait! All our best to you.
