I do enjoy William Kent Krueger, but I’ve only “found” his work in the last couple of years. I wonder why they escaped me so long. Thanks for spreading the word in your Readers Advisory work.
He is so good!!
This Tender Land is GREAT!!
Ordinary Grace is also good.
I haven’t read The River We Remember, but I hear it is excellent.
I haven’t read any of his Cork O’Connor books except Tamarack County.
I prefer his standalones.
Enjoy whichever you read.
I love WKK (as my friends call him). I have an unread copy of Ordinary Grace that I will pull down when I need his kind of story.
I enjoy the Cork O’Conner series and find they make good road trip books for travel with my husband who isn’t much of a reader. It is easy to jump into the middle of the series without feeling lost. I’ve read all the early ones but have several still to go.
Try Left on Tenth for second chance romance- a memoir by Delia Ephron . Loved it!
I’ve read The Boys in the Boat twice, A Man called Ove, and some of the William Kent Krueger books- all good! Have you tried books by Kate Atkinson- The Alice Network, The Rose Code, The Diamond Eye, The Briar Club ( not exactly sure of the title)- all hard to put down historical fiction based on real life- excellent!
I have read William Kent Krueger’s stand alone books - my favorite is THIS TENDER LAND.
